When is Thanksgiving in 2016?

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in 2016 on 27 November Thursday (2016-11-27). Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. Thanksgiving Day parades are held in some cities and towns on or around Thanksgiving Day. Some parades or festivities also mark the opening of the Christmas shopping season.
Some people have a four-day weekend so it is a popular time for trips and to visit family and friends. To help you through the tricky process of deciding which relatives you’ll be offended by this year. Our northern neighbors spend the second Monday of every October celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving or, as they call it, Thanksgiving.
As I wrote last year (what can I say, it’s my holiday tradition), Canadian Thanksgiving is a way better holiday than Columbus Day in every way.
